Founder. Ana is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has attended several universities in Brazil and the United States, studying psychology, pedagogy, and school counseling. She worked as an ESOL teacher, both elementary and middle schools . Her specialties are literacy in the content areas and engaging diverse communities towards social inclusion. Ana is currently working as a school counselor at a middle school.
Dhyani has recently graduated from high school and is starting college soon! She is supporting us with the families and teaching, as well as book distribution.
Carolyn has been a non-profit executive for over 30 years. She has worked in organizations such as Save the Children, World Vision, and the Peace Corps. She has lots of experience with cross-cultural settings as she lived in many countries, such as Guatemala and Haiti. She is passionate about restorative justice, immigrant advocacy, and social equality.
Alessandra is from Brasilia, Brasil. She holds a degree in communication and used to be a TV news reporter! She works for Northrop Grumman Supply Chain. Alessandra is also an entrepreneur and created her own coffee product: Cafe Rubia!
